Ballston Harvester was brought to life by Chris, Julie and Avery Oare.  We have always had roots in farming and were looking for a way to share that passion for fresh, healthy and overall better tasting food with everyone in our community.  Sharing with others and showing them what farmers from their own area are producing is exciting to us and usually an eye opener for many people that we talk with. 

 

Growing up on a dairy farm was a great way to learn about the importance of knowing where your food comes from and what is in it.  Being able to share this with our daughter has been rewarding and a great learning experience for her as well.  She is also very excited to share this with her friends and has become quite the little saleswoman at school.  

 

Our hope is to offer even more local products in the future and grow every year.  We look forward to seeing you stop by and if there is anything you are looking for or would like to see in the future let us know.
